Return and Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping with INK MAX. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return and refund policy before placing an order.
Return requests
Please contact us before returning any item. Items sent back without first contacting us may not be accepted.
To request a return or report a problem with your order, please contact us at sales@inkmax.ca with your order number, product name and a brief explanation of the issue.
Return window
Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, unopened and in its original packaging, unless the product is defective or there was an error with your order.
Printer cartridges and printer supplies
Ink cartridges, toner cartridges, drums, imaging units, labels, tapes and other printer supplies must be unopened and in original packaging to be eligible for a return.
Opened printer cartridges or printer supplies are not returnable unless they are defective or there was an error with your order.
Defective items
If your item appears to be defective, please contact us as soon as possible. We may ask for details such as the printer model, cartridge model, photos, error messages or printed sample pages so we can review the issue.
If the product is confirmed to be defective, we may offer a replacement, store credit or refund.
Printer firmware updates
Our compatible cartridges are tested to work with supported printers and current firmware at the time of purchase. Future printer firmware updates may affect cartridge compatibility. Please review our Printer Update Information before ordering.
If a compatibility issue appears to be related to a printer firmware update after purchase, we will review the situation and do our best to help, but refunds or replacements are not guaranteed for issues caused by future printer updates.
Shipping charges
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error by INK MAX or a confirmed defective product.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we sent the wrong item.
Refunds
After we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow time for your bank, credit card company or payment provider to process the refund.
Non-returnable items
The following items are not returnable unless defective or sent in error:
Opened ink or toner cartridges
Opened drums or imaging units
Opened labels, tapes or ribbons
Special order items
Items damaged after delivery
Items returned without original packaging
Order problems
If you received the wrong item, a damaged item or an incomplete order, please contact us at sales@inkmax.ca as soon as possible so we can help resolve the issue.
