Which ink cartridges do you refill?
We refill selected Brother, Canon and HP ink cartridges listed on our Ink Refill Prices page.
Do you refill every Brother, Canon and HP cartridge?
No. We refill only the cartridge models listed on our price page. Many newer cartridges cannot be refilled because of smart-chip technology.
Do you refill laser toner cartridges?
No. We no longer refill laser toner cartridges. Premium-quality compatible toner replacements are available from INK MAX.
Do colour refills cost more than black?
No. Colour refills are the same price as black unless a separate price is shown.
Can regular cartridges be upgraded to XL capacity?
Selected Brother cartridges are upgraded to XL refill capacity where applicable, at no extra charge. Canon Maxify regular cartridges are also upgraded to XL refill capacity.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Please call or email before visiting so we can confirm that your cartridge is refillable.
Where is the refill service located?
Our home-based refill service is located at 1516 Finley Crescent in London, Ontario. Visits are by appointment only.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept debit, cash and e-transfer.
Can every empty cartridge be refilled successfully?
No. The cartridge must be in good physical and electronic working condition. Damaged cartridges or cartridges showing electronic errors may not be refillable.
What cartridge errors may prevent refilling?
Messages such as “cartridge problem,” “incompatible cartridge,” or “cannot be recognized” may indicate an electronic problem.
How should I carry my empty cartridges?
Carry them in a plastic container rather than a bag, and avoid touching the electronic chip.
How soon should an empty cartridge be refilled?
Refill it as soon as possible. Leaving it empty for too long may allow ink to dry inside the cartridge.
Why does my Canon printer still show low or empty ink after refilling?
The original electronic chip may not reset after refilling. Follow the steps on our Instructions After Refill page.
What if my cartridge cannot be refilled?
Ask us about a premium-quality compatible replacement. Many compatible cartridges are available at prices close to the cost of refilling.
Are the listed prices before tax?
Yes. All refill prices are per cartridge and before tax.
